Excellent and cute family owned restaurant in Little Italy, Toronto. We had the pleasure of celebrating sweet Nonna's birthday (chef) We recommend the bruschetta, caprese salad, pizza. The service was great and friendly, really enjoyed this restaurant. Great authentic Italian food. Will definitely be back.

Excellent and cozy restaurant in Little Italy in Toronto. The restaurant has a cute outdoor patio and fireplace. The staff was great, they kept checking up on us, gave us a complimentary dessert due to noise level that didnt bother us at all. The appetizers were delicious and the mushroom risotto with truffle oil was mouthwatering. The stuffed ravioli with butternut squash and pecans was rich and perfect. I would definitely go back or highly recommend this beautiful gem.

Always a great experience coming to the Diplomatico. you'd think that Nonna was in the kitchen the food is so delicious and authentic but close enough the chef their Malic serves up his own signature style on a plate each and every time we come in.

Definitely a must try if you are downtown, and if not it is well worth the trip! Absolutely the best Italian restaurant I have tried by far in terms of food, service, location and price range!!

My fiance and I love Giancarlo Trattoria!!
