After knowing the great experience in Toronto at Wildfire we are so glad that Oshawa has opened this upscale steakhouse. There is no other place to go for a 1st class meal in Durham and we recently celebrated my fathers 90th in their party room. Service, atmosphere and food were fantastic and of course the wine list was impressive.

Our young waitress was absolutely delightful and asked if we were pleased with each course. We were extremely happy with the Prime Rib. Best ever!!
We have been here many times and each experience has been a treat. For $30 each, it was a feast.

I was wary to visit this place from the previous reviews, but I was pleasantly surprised! They've done renovations as well as changed their menu. It has been for the better!
Our server, George, although new to the restaurant (starting one week prior) was very knowledgeable. I ask as many questions as possible, and I'm glad he could answer most, others he would go to the kitchen to ask any he did not know. One important question was where they source their beef, I was told it is all Ontario beef which pleased me.
The Beef Carpaccio was nice, as well as the Beef Wellington. Not the most traditional way to create the dish, but it was still tasty. The pork was nice, although the apple-bacon compote may have been a bit over-the-top on bacon. The Lamb chop was crusted nicely and was done VERY evenly.
The dessert was something else. Homemade marshmallows, homemade graham cookies, caramel sauce, and milk chocolate sauce. The marshmallows were on sticks and you have your own campfire that comes along with it. Very novel, very exciting, and the smell of the fire was very close to a campfire.
All in all, a good visit.

I have a permanent disability, and I came to this restaurant to celebrate my grandma’s 80th birthday. Our waitress was named Sarah and she provided our table with excellent service. She took all our orders properly, and had the food served so quick, considering we were a larger group. My 3 children were quite loud, and yet our server was extremely patient and tolerant of my noisy kids. Most waitresses would never be so tolerant. Dessert was very good also. We had a very good time.

We usually can rely on the keg for a nice steak or prime rib. The meat is very good and the sides are usually good.

I'd heard about this place from several people I knew, but it was never a place that interested me. I think a big part of that was the location, in that silly little mall/office building.
We went there to celebrate my fathers birthday, and my first impression was that it was nice, but a little dark. In fact my mother had to step out into the "mall" area just to read her menu.
I ordered the shepherds pie (it was the cheapest on the menu and I'm not a big meat eater), as did my boyfriend. My mom ordered the chicken fried steak and my dad had the porterhouse. It took over an hour to get our food, the waitress claimed that the steak had to have some special magical way of cooking and that's why it took so long. The small of smoke and fire extinguisher told another story.
When our food arrived I thought "Really? That's it?". The portion seemed so small, and the side salad was laughable. However once I started eating I really enjoyed the meal, as did my family, and in the end I wasn't even able to finish it. Then we all got free desert, some sort of cheesecake thing that was pure awesomeness.
So in the end, we all really enjoyed our meals and would return again. Hopefully with a shorter wait though.

first off i would love to say this place is amazing have been going since it opened and keep going back atleast once a week and gonna keep the servers are amazing very friendly and outgoing its not pricey at all for a matter of a fact its cheaper then most places where can you go and eat for 2 ppl with coffee for 16 bucks you get 2 eggs and yes they are large eggs and either back ham or sausage home fries and yes they are real home fries and toast....i think people should stop just saying the bad you guys went how many months ago 7 when they first opened maybe you should try it again for a matter of a fact the have a deal on weekends the basic is 1.99 where can you go and eat for 1.99 no where and if you people think you can do better try this is a good place and maybe you should just try it again

Placed an order through Uber Eats. Received the completely wrong order and Tracey (the general manager at the Courtice Location) personally drove the correct meal to our place ! Amazing customer service. If everyone did their job the way Tracey did the world would be a better place ! Thank you.

Our soccer team and parents, a party of 30+, invaded for lunch and we were really impressed with the service, the food, the atmosphere, everything was amazing! The server, Hunter, remembered everyone's names, no ones orders were mixed up, the separate bills were all correct... Considering the place was packed with other enthusiastic soccer fans, we couldn't have been happier with our experience! Would definitely reccomend.
