Harbord Bakery is the Best bakery in Ontario, offering fresh baked pastries, desseets, bread, delicious handmade sandwiches, and a variety of high end grocery items. Their fresh baked loaf of Dark Rye Bread is our favorite, it is delicious and melts in your mouth. Highly Recommended.

Having once lived up the road from Pain Perdu, and also having once lived in Lyon, France, I can say without a doubt that Yannick has truly brought the authentic boulangerie/patisserie experience to Toronto.
The coffee is excellent, and the sweets are superb.

My one and only destination for cupcakes! Too many flavours to choose from keep me coming back once a week for almost 2 years now! After searching for what seemed like years, for a good cupcake bakeshop, I stumbled upon Short & Sweet and the tart yet sweet Key-Lime cupcake that made me a believer. It all started with a mini cupcake sample that they so generously provide to all (to get you hooked!) and that small taster turns into a dangerous addiction! SO many great flavours and helpful staff definitely don't hurt and the product is truly amazing. The place actually smells like fresh baked goods and icing sugar!! I mean, common, who doesn't feel weak in the knees after a whiff of fresh baked cupcakes!
