Mom and Pop place. Family has been there for over 30 years - was talking with the family. Very friendly. Jerk chicken was just right - not too spicy. Oxtail fell off the bone. MMMM soo good.

This was our first visit. Staff are pleasant and friendly, not to mention patient and helpful. Prices are very reasonable and the fish was quite good, not greasy and the fries were excellent.
Next trip will try the Halibut or White fish and maybe check out a pie to take home too. Nice decor, good lighting, and quite clean.

This is the best fish and chips that I've ever tried in Toronto. (I went there on the advice of a friend and would have never have gone here without that recommendation).
It's a very unassuming place, with fairly drab surroundings. But the fish is top notch, with large portions at a good price. I don't really know what else to say besides that. It's fish and chips and it's GOOD.
(If it weren't for the location, I'd come back more often.)

Great place for a delicious, affordable meal. Most customers order takeout but there are places to sit if you'd like to dine in. Very casual setting run by Jamaican women. Truest testament to it's quality––it's always filled with people, many of them Jamaican!

One of my favourite things is to go down to St Lawrence on a Saturday with a friend who is peameal or eggplant obsessed (you know who you are!) and convince them that "this week, we go to Churrasco St Lawrence, and next week we'll get yours". We never go for their sandwich, because they are always instant converts.
All take-away, you can't miss with their huge Chicken Sandwich, what appears to be most of a chicken completely infused with the fantastic sauce with lettuce and tomato. With or without mayo.
The sandwich is enough to give you a big grin and a full belly, but I usually find room for a custard tart, something akin to a creme brulee taste in a buttery yet flaky, almost phyllo-style shell. Yeah.
They do full rotisserie chickens and a range of other foods too, but to be honest in 4 years I've never gotten past the sandwich. I'm hooked.
If you've had a night on the town, a few bites into this mamma jamma and you'll be saying the same thing I am.

My friend had never been to this restaurant and I wanted her to experience it.
The food is fabulous. I've never had the fish and chips but if it's as good as the Thai food, it should be excellent.
The food is so fresh and tasty. My friend was amazed at how good something as simple as spring rolls and fried wontons could be... and the sauces.
I enjoy the less "conventional". The salad rolls are wrapped in large rice noodles and served with peanut sauce. The "Lemon Grass" soup has fresh mushrooms and tomatoes with a selection of chicken, shrimp or fish for $3.99. I choose the shrimp - big, fresh shrimp.
In total we spent $11.85 - incredible for such excellent food. I'm taking another friend this week.
