This pub is around the corner from our house and we just love it there. The ladies are all very friendly. the menu has variety so it doesnt matter what you feel like having they have something to satisfy you. Their sandwiches are AMAZING! They use meat from the butcher next door which adds that little extra for an awesome sandwich or burger. The atmosphere is relaxed and fun, we even take our baby there because anyone is welcome!

Good food, good service your usual pub fare. Nice place for snack/meal and a pint or two. Would come again. Very busy on st. patty's day when we went of course, but food and service still good.

Sure I'll go back. It's a pub with a great pub atmosphere - good selection of brew on tap. Great nachos - really good value on that - and why not? It keeps you drinking! The other food we had was fine and good value for the price. Service was friendly and attentive. Not all gorgeous as one reviewer wrote (probably an employee) but very good at the job. Want some pub grub? You won't be disappointed.

The restuarant is spactacular. On Monday's they serve an amazing fajita. Not only is the food great but the service is just as great. The servers are focused, friendly, and welcoming. It's a great restaurant to go to any day of the week. If you have time definitly stop by.

Formerly..The Winchester Arms has recently been converted to the new Beaufort Pub ! The changes are amazing ! Main floor washroom added ! No need to go all the way downstairs anymore ! On the main floor the lounge and bar has been redesigned complete with fireplace, lounge chairs and new updated televisions. The lounge has had many new daily food and beverage specials added also ! Deals that cannot be beat ! Every Tuesday at 7pm they have hosted Trivia ! Great turnouts and worth the visit ! Saturday Matinees with both single and duo blues and/or jazz band from 1 to 4pm create a great afternoon event to get out of the house and beat the winter blues!!! They have added so many different dinning room features and added many different food menu item specials that are worth checking out ! They have great friendly staff and food is very good ! The old Winchester was run down,,it is great to see that the ownership made all of these great changes ! It's a busy pub with lots of atmosphere ! REALLY WORTH CHECKING IT OUT ! They now have a great website and are linked to facebook so now we are constantly able to be updated on current upcoming events ! Great job !! It was time for a change !!!! It has happened and I am sure you will be as pleased as I was to see all of the great changes !! They have brought back all of the British beers... Guinness Smithwicks Harp etc !! As well as many new of the Molson Domestic beers to choose from too !

Food is really good. Staff are friendly and service is fantastic. I was greeted at the door immediately and had a cold beer within 2 minutes. I ordered hot wings on my first visit and suicide wings on my second visit. The hot wings are not very hot so if you like hot, order the suicide.

I am confused by the "American" designation, since it is clearly German, right down to the delicious spaetzle and red cabbage. (You can only get the red cabbage if you ask, it isn't on the menu.)
The schnitzels are very good, with ample portions. (We have never tried the homemade desserts -- too full!) The meat is tender and set off well by the fine breading. My husband has tried every schnitzel on the menu, and has a hard time declaring a favourite - he enjoys them all.
The coffee is very good, the warm bun that comes prior to the meal is a nice treat. The service is usually very pleasant. A little more than a standard lunch in terms of cost, but worth it.
