Their understanding and genuine care really made the world of difference for me. I have been going to New West Cycle for almost 2 years now (since it opened) and I absolutely love them! They are friendly, honest, not out to take advantage of your knowledge or lack there-of. The staff are always willing to teach and to learn. They have a great working knowledge of both vintage, old, and new technologies and are able to work on bikes from all eras (and sell bikes from all eras as well). They listen to what you want, give you options to fulfill your needs, then listen to what YOU want, not what is most profitable for them. There is no other bike shop in the lower mainland that has the variety, friendliness and honesty that they have, and I have looked. They are my favourite bike shop, no question.

We tried one of their mixed beef pho with beef slices, brisket and balls and a salad roll for a lighter meal. No problem to get a table later in the evening. Plenty of street pay parking. The service was good, we were seated right away and had our order taken promptly. The food came pretty fast and was good. You are given your own pot of tea which is great to self refill.

Great price on bbq propane tank and it's good for 9 more years!!! Friendly service and easy to find. I'll definitely go back for more propane tanks...already recommended my parents to pick one up there as theirs expired too!!

Discovered this shop because it is close to home and have been very happy I did. Amin has been so great with both our cars, and very honest. I can always trust his opinions and judgement. I highly recommend Amin, he has a friendly personality and is easy to talk to, as well as very knowledgeable. He discovered & fixed a problem that I had asked two other shops and they had no clue. I have heard he also has a couple other locations as well.
