The staff are friendly, very knowledgeable about what birds are resident in Vancouver and when and more importantly what you need to put out to attract them to your yard. In addition, they offer an outstanding selection of every type of feeder you can imagine from a simple window ledge feeder through to a birds' version of an all you can eat buffet. But the products don't stop at feed and feeders. They also offer field guides, nature themed gifts, binoculars and all sorts of other products to appeal to the wild bird enthusiast in you. Even better...if you get really serious about feeding the birds in your backyard, like we have, you can stock up when the seed is on sale! By purchasing multiple bags they will keep a record of your purchase and let you come in and pick up a bag here and a bag there as you need it. My pipes leaked into my basement and I had to shut off my water so I needed a plumber fast. I was lucky enough to read the reviews on Ashton and give them a call.They sent Tim within the day. Tim was pleasant, competent and professional... this was someone who KNEW what he was doing. He fixed my leak (which was the least of my problems) and checked the house to make sure everything was okay. He charged only for what was replaced and he did not charge me for frills or small "fixes". Thank you Tim for fixing the wiring and giving me heating for the first time in years! I'd recommend Ashton (ask for Tim!!) in a heartbeat.

I was skeptical at first because they ranked so high in reviews and this place was located in Delta/Surrey but I must say I was really impressed. I think Ive been to all the Japanese restaurants along the Westcoast and Akari is absolutely top notch. Their black rice specialty rolls and tempura were especially memorable. The owner told me they have a tempura master who have been making tempura for 20 years! Ill definitely be back with my family and friends.

The office has been fully upgraded to the latest technology, digital x-rays, comfortable treatment rooms. The same great reliable service stays the same. Dr. Patrick Wu is excellent treating children, shows lots of patience, and explains things very clearly. We have been long time patients and have lots of trust in them.

Everyone knows about this bowling center if you live in the Burnaby/Tri-city area. It's the best! It has different and cheap deals every day. It has more than ten lanes and it has different size/weight of the bowling balls. It has also a small pub/restaurant and a arcade. You just won't get bore when you are there! It's just a famouse place that you often have to wait for 30 minutes to get your lane, so go there early!

I try and hit up Rodney's whenever I am in Van.
Located on trendy Hamilton St. it's got some serious character. Sit at the bar for a great view of the oyster shucking and some lively chat with the bartenders. Staff is friendly with plenty of personality. They have an oyster happy hour 4-6pm (if I remember correctly) where it's half price oysters. And seeing as many of the oysters and ingredients come right out of the ocean around BC the food is beyond fresh.
And in case you were wondering, this place has the best selection of oysters I have seen yet. 11 different kinds on the last visit. My favorites being Fanny Bay and Kushi. Good selection of craft beer on tap too.

Been a constant customer of Las Margaritas for a few years now, you cant beat their homemade salsa and corn tortilla chips. Stop in for a lime margarita and the LA Burrito - you won't be dissapointed.

We had a lovely table by the window so we had a nice view. Overall ambience is very bright and contemporary. To our benefit the restaurant was not that busy on a weeknight and we parked very close. The service was very good. We enjoyed their daily flatbread special and crab cakes to start. For our mains we went with halibut and osso bucco, both too were very good and cooked just right. And to finish went with a delicious choco molten cake just perfect to share.
