Passing through today with my wife and daughter, hungry so we stopped in. Service was prompt, and actually involved 3 people! I had the pickerel platter (had to prevent myself from saying "It's actually called walleye!"), wife had poutine, and daughter had the soup of the day, hamburger vegetable, and chicken burger. All agreed that it was good. Decor was interesting, and washrooms were very clean. Jake's is currently up for sale; it will be interesting to see what happens here, as the place seems to be a bit of an institution, having been run by the same ownership since 1969.

They responded almost immediately to our urgent landscaping needs. They were knowledgeable, polite and provided alternative solutions. Once we decided the choice for us, they responded with excellent and skilled work. Thank you to Brad and John from Land and Lake.

They explained everything to me in words I could understand, they talked to me like a human being, treated me with respect, and gave options and explained each in a non-prioritising manner. The choice was mine. They respected me, and were so professional (running errands, cleaning up, explaining) that I will never have another plumber besides this company. Even the charge was fair and explained. This is a company that takes pride in being professional and in doing a good job.
