I love coming to Vandermeer to look for plants. Even if I don't find what I'm looking for, it's wonderful to see the fish and very relaxing to watch the turtles lounging around. This is the place to shop in the spring and summer - such a variety of plants.

I have had Romart do work for me on a couple of occasions and every time he's very honest great pricing and always does exactly what's asked. He knows his stuff very well and can design and build exactly what you need, he even got me all the paperwork for my permits great guy will continue to use him. I've had a lot of no shows and underbids. Romart is honest and reliable, always welcome back.

The nursery has a down to Earth vibe and its staff are more informed than other nurseries in the area. Prices began to rise in the last 2-3 years but this place is still more affordable than Sheridan. Complaints about emerald cedars not living should not solely be put on the nursery but planting and watering. The staff are busy so getting special treatment is difficult (referring to previous comments)
