Candice has taken family photos for me that I will cherish forever. She has a way of making everyone feel comfortable during the session. I constantly get compliments on the photos that she has taken and can’t wait to book her again! Highly recommend!

Passing through today with my wife and daughter, hungry so we stopped in. Service was prompt, and actually involved 3 people! I had the pickerel platter (had to prevent myself from saying "It's actually called walleye!"), wife had poutine, and daughter had the soup of the day, hamburger vegetable, and chicken burger. All agreed that it was good. Decor was interesting, and washrooms were very clean. Jake's is currently up for sale; it will be interesting to see what happens here, as the place seems to be a bit of an institution, having been run by the same ownership since 1969.
