I had a wonderful experience with Kal Tire on Victoria Road. My 82 year old Mother and I had a flat tire - and we had just come off the ferry from Vancouver to Nanaimo. We had a long journey from Seattle, Washington. We pulled into Kal Tire to get the tire fixed - it had a nail in it. They removed the nail, fixed the tire, and didn't charge us for the repair. Very kind. Thank You Kal Tire for your generosity.

The guys helping us dispose of hazardous materials (paint, etc.) have been super helpful - and sympathetic to the challenges of safely disposing of hazardous waste. Thank you for the time you spent. Hard-working people providing a much-needed service over there! ?? ?

When my car broke down for the second time, I got a second opionion. I also paid half of the previous tow and waited half the time. I like Rick Keegan...he is friendly, considerate and treated my baby like I like her to be treated....lots of TLC.
Since she is very low to the ground, Rick used a new tool I've never seen before...a Carrier Skate...and she skated right up onto the deck. From Stewart Ave in Nanaimo to Yellow Point (about 20k) it only cost me $60. This compared to the $100 previous charge for a few km from Nicol St to Northfield Rd where I waited over half an hour stranded on the highway in the pouring rain hoping no one would run into the back of my car.

I recently used Buy Sell & Trade to get rid of a bunch of stuff around my house. I registered on their site and had some trouble so sent an email to their web master. He phoned me in the evening (ok, I was shocked!) and walked me through getting registered. I posted my stuff and within 20 minutes had received my first call. Best of all, all the ads online are also printed in their paper. To me that kinda covers all the off line people. I'm pleased with how easy the process is to use their site and that all the ads are checked for scams.

Solution based approach and I just find with TD in general seems to be a consistency and genuine compassion in hardship and working towards solutions and non judgemental. I have more confidence in mending my situation and feeling like I don't need to ' avoid ' my finances. Professional with a human side unparalleled by any other bank or business I've done business with. Only wish I started banking here years ago . Keep trusting in your customers and being kind to all . Thanks from the deep.
