We came here for our 2 year wedding anniversary - we were blown away!! Atmosphere is beautiful and the food is beyond incredible. Service was prompt and so friendly. The pakora and paneer are a must!

One of the standout highlights of my dining experience was the seared scallops with cauliflower puree and truffle oil. The scallops were perfectly cooked to tender perfection, with a delicate caramelization that added depth of flavor. Paired with the creamy puree and aromatic truffle oil, it was a culinary masterpiece that left me craving for more.

We come here from Hamilton every time we're in town visiting friends. We like the food, the service was good. Our waitress I think her name was Anita, but I could be wrong was very friendly and quick. The place is always clean, didn't have to wait for a table.
My only concern, is they should put ice in the water. I'm not really partial to warm water, but everything else was great.

Probably the best Chinese restaurant in the area. The other one star/two star reviews doesn't do it justice. Great price for the food portions you get and always cooked well. I would recommend this to anyone.

We go there several times a month for our meats. I wish they had longer hours, and that the selection would be consistent every time we go in. Best check in town, and their prepackaged foods are great quick meals. I'd recommend them to anyone.

Wow! What an amazing place! I felt like a queen! We were so pampered! I felt like I was back in time when service was service! The waiters were so attentive and helpful; the food was to die for! I had the 20 rib eye which also gave me two more meals at home. Can't wait to go back!

I try to go to The Longest Yard once every week., and I have been since shortly after it opened. The staff and management are friendly and welcoming and the food is decently priced for the portion/quality you get.
It's a 5 minute walk from Islington subway station so if you're planning on drinking, it definitely saves money on cab fare. If you drive, there's quite a bit of parking on Bloor and on Eagle (side street).
They have one of the best burgers I've ever eaten, and the beef is organic. They have other options as well, though the menu isn't fully organic. Every day, they have specials for dinner. Fish and Chips tend to be a special on Friday and Sunday night, and it's really good.
The added bonus for me is that I'm a Baseball fan and The Longest Yard is the only place I go to where even if there's playoff Hockey and Basketball on, at least one TV will have Baseball and I won't be told "Sorry, nobody wants to watch Baseball."
It caters to the family as well as the Sports fans. I was there for the Superbowl and for the Olympic Gold Hockey match. It's not the type of place where people go to get completely drunk, loud, and obnoxious though people are drinking. They also have contests during big events where you can win prizes and even cash!
So two thumbs way up!
