Quaint little cafe with old-world-charm leaded glass windows that open to the street in summer. I have been there many times, always getting one of their breakfast meals. The service has always been quick and polite. The owner/manager was always on site and seems to take pride in good service. The place is usually pretty busy, but has a quick turn around time, so there isn't usually a wait more than a minute or two. As soon as your coffee cup starts to empty, the waitress or busser is over to fill it right back up (if you desire). It is a good old fashioned diner/greasy spoon that is great to sit back and have conversation with friends, and also great prices. Bonus, it is located close to Riverdale farms (TO's 1st zoo) which is great place (free) for kids to see animals, and near riverdale park for a game of baseball, tennis, ultimate or walking the dog. The meal is always done how you like it, and price includes coffee/tea and a small cup of OJ. Not bad at all ;) One of the most economical places to have a full meal, and unlike Yorkville restos I have never been dissatisfied with the food nor the service. The one thing they could improve on is offering more hot water for tea drinkers...we enjoy refills too!

Fantastic flavours, most delicious mushroom soup I have ever tasted...All the entrees were perfectly portioned, fabulous garlic mashed potatoes or sweet potato fries accompanied our meals. The ambience was warm, relaxed, modern...Service, impeccable. Planning my next meal for a large group of family and friends at Five61....looking forward to the creme caramel again!

Great atmosphere!!!!!!
The best place in Niagara to watch a sporting event.!!! GOLF, NFL, NHL and of course, FOOTBALL (or Soccer to the rest of you) available.
Best to call the bar in a day or two before to find out if they can get your particular game so you won't be disappointed.
If there is not a game on you might be able to get a lively conservation/debate going......

After reading some excellent reviews, I decided to bring my husband here for his birthday dinner. Most of what we had were new to us but very tasty. I've always wanted to try jamon iberico and we were able to get our first taste of the famed iberico and it was indeed fantastic! Although the dishes were small, we were pretty full by the end of our meal and the overall experience was very good.

This is probably the most busiest Harvey's I've seen. Located at Union Station, filled with people and adequate seating. Service is good and is fast. Not a long wait for food.

We had the Mother's Day special lunch at $20/head. The room was clean, friendly and nicely decorated Everything was as we wanted it, fresh and hot.
The ginger-infused creme brulee was excellent, with just the right amount of flavour.
Away from the main drag hassles, definitely worth checking out

My family and I have been coming here for many years now. I don't know what the other 2 reviewers were talking about- the service is always great and the food is amazing. The ambience is wonderful and it is a great place for a date or a family outing. I highly suggest it!
