Excellent and cozy restaurant in Little Italy in Toronto. The restaurant has a cute outdoor patio and fireplace. The staff was great, they kept checking up on us, gave us a complimentary dessert due to noise level that didnt bother us at all. The appetizers were delicious and the mushroom risotto with truffle oil was mouthwatering. The stuffed ravioli with butternut squash and pecans was rich and perfect. I would definitely go back or highly recommend this beautiful gem.

Excellent and cute family owned restaurant in Little Italy, Toronto. We had the pleasure of celebrating sweet Nonna's birthday (chef) We recommend the bruschetta, caprese salad, pizza. The service was great and friendly, really enjoyed this restaurant. Great authentic Italian food. Will definitely be back.

My fiance and I love Giancarlo Trattoria!!
We try to eat here at least once a month and we always order the same thing! We have been fortunate to eat in some wonderful restaurants around the world and Giancarlo Trattoria is in our top 3!!

This was a sigularly phenomenal experience. All of our food was lick-your-plate excellent. I love their investment in local food producers. Their housemade breads, butters, pastas totally show it. We also were treated to a random complimentary amuse-bouche of a pork terrine with caramelized onions on crostini. Vanilla creme brulee was the single best creme brulee I've ever had--PERFECTLY burnt sugar. Truly amazing prices for food this good.
ONLY down thought? Cocktails are expensive and taste like actual booze. Given that I'm normally a fruity liqour drinker, they were hard drinks to swallow! A connaisseur might feel differently. [Had Autumn sidecar/dark & stormy]

Great ambiance, friendly staff, good choice of lunch and dinner items, reasonable prices, nice wine list, and great little patio in front in the Summer. Parking is an issue as you have to park around the corner, but that's typical for everything along the main street in Dundas . You have to find a metered spot (free in the evening). :) I'm looking forward to eating there again. I've been there 4 times this past year.

Love this place and it's food. They're cashier I believe they're in her name is Erica and she goes out of her way to make you feel like family and that's what keeps me coming back because of her great service and great food
