I met Dr. Nelson after a slip and fall accident sustained as a letter carrier for Canada Post Corporation in 2011. My whole left side was compromised. I was hugely concerned! I had a very physically demanding job, 2 small children at home whom needed their mom and I could not even lift them because of the injury I sustained. My quality of life was the terrible! I have always been interested in martial arts but never figured I could afford to take it up.. A friend of mine suggested that I come to a class at Western Karate Academy where his family studied Shokaido. So I went to watch and within a few minutes I knew this was the place for me. Sensei Doan is very understanding and compassionate about each one of his students...
The students themselves are made to feel a part of a very fine family. When working with each other we learn the most we can to the best of our abilities and it helps us to develop our character within.
The people in the academy make you feel welcome right from the first time you walk thru the door. Now martial arts is not for everyone but how will you know unless you give it a try?

I have had Adaptive Glass complete several jobs for me since I was referred to them a few weeks ago. They come to my shop/house, when I am available, and are always friendly and efficient.
When they say 24/7 mobile service, no after hours charges, etc, they really mean it! I've had work done day and night, and they do not charge me differently. They have set the bar very high, and exceed it every day.
It's rocks having a company like this in Kamloops! Keep up the great work Jim and Jennifer!
