If you have never been to the Pacific Institute of Culinary Arts (my friends call it short: Cooking School), well you have to try it. The restaurant is located just at the entrance to Granville Island.
I went there recently and ordered the following:
Appetizer: Red Beet / Gravad Lox ($9)
Main Course: Lamb Saltimbocca ($19)
Wine:
Hester Creek Okanagan Valley, BC Glass ($8)
This meal was a culinary delight. Pricing is very reasonable in comparison to the big names here in town.

Copeman Healthcare has treated me with the utmost care and courtesy possible. They were very professional and the difference between attending an appointment at the Copeman Clinic and your typical non private health clinic is remarkable. This is my favourite restaurant. period. I don't get the chance to travel to Vancouver much but we've debated flying in just for dinner at Ouisi. There isn't a thing on the menu you should not order. Great portion sizes, great flavours - I crave them while back home in Ontario.
