Hate the wait but love the food. If you come at 10pm on a Saturday still a 10 minutes wait. I have been here a couple of times before and always excellent. The meatballs in tomato sauce just amazing. We had the zucchini and rabbit pasta dishes and both so good. Cooked just al dente, good amount of flavour and just enough coating of sauce. Very good selection of by glass or bottle wines.

Visited as a guest in this awesome place and restaurant for lunch just today. I enjoyed good food and a delicious wine. Must try!

The pasta at Old Spaghetti Factory is good to eat and you get decent value for the money. The pasta can tend to be ordinary from the perspective of the selections but they put together good food and they offer a fun atmosphere and decor that makes them a good family restaurant for when you are downtown with your family. A great restaurant with a really cosy, warm atmosphere. Were there during our honeymoon and the staff was really pleasant. The food was very good, if a bit pricey. Tried one of the BC wines and was surprised by how good it was. Service could have been more attentive but was sincere and friendly when we got it. Would recommend you try it if only for the atmosphere and the food

Goldies pizza is different then your usual pizza place. It is distinguished by the pizza itself. When you buy a slice (or a whole pizza) you don't end up with a huge bready crust, Goldies is served rustic style... on thin crust. It's seriously the best pizza I have tasted in town. I prefer the mushroom pizza the most. YOu can see all the slices Goldies offers through their display window right off of Pender street, or you can go inside, sit at the bar, and order a beer while you they heat up your slice! I really liked the atmosphere. The owner, Michael, is a classy guy. He treats everyone with respect who walks in the door. They are also becoming more tech savy, and are adding their listings to Foursquare, and twitter. I checked into foursquare at goldies pizza, and got a dollar off their draft beer. Its a nice place! I had a great time at Café il Nido the other night. The Costoletta was fantastic! Grilled to perfection and fresh vegetables. The service was attentive and fast. Couldn't find anything to complain about!
