I would really recommend Miga for any occasion. Service and ambience are both great and the food, with high quality and fresh ingredients, is exceptional. Definitely try out this place if youre ever in Missisauga.

My husband and I discovered Dai Ichi several years ago almost by accident on New Year's Eve when the Mandarin was overcrowded and behind on their reservations. I have always been grateful to Mandarin for their ineptitude.
Dai Ichi is a small, out of the way place, tucked into a nondescript strip mall near a Longo's and Shopper's Drug Mart, but it is definitely one of the best sushi places in the area. Good people and outstanding food. It has become a staple with our family, and we even took a large party there for dinner one Christmas!

I used to come here quite often when it was under different management. It was always good then and it is still good now. My fiance and I were looking for a good quick lunch, I had been here before so we decided to try it again. We were not dissapointed. The food was fresh, hot and cold where it should have been. Even the miso was tasty, some places make it too salty. The couple that runs the place were friendly and happy to help us. The tempura spicy crab roll was my favorite roll from the old menu, I couldn't find it on the new menu but when I asked they said they could make it for me no problem. The food was made right in front of us and it was ready quick, we barely had to wait more than 10 minutes.
It is a small shop, room for only 4 or 5 people to sit down so it is food to take home if you have a big party of people, but you wont regret it. The shop is clean and the ingredients are fresh. The service is friendly and the menu is easy to read and easy to use.

Went for lunch at Sushi Ginza due to the great ratings on here. I am glad I went. The place was not busy at all and my friend and I got a table quickly. I had the sashimi salad lunch special and my friend had the Sushi Roll lunch special. Each special came with tempera chips, 2 pieces of calamari, 2 pieces of salmon type roll, a potato croquette, and fruits. I also ordered the torpedo roll (smoke salmon, tempera shrimp, tataki tuna) which is really delicious name maybe right. The sashimi salad was really yummy. Big portion all around. They don't cheap out on anything. The total was around $34. A pretty good deal for all the food we had. Love this oriental food

my friends and I were looking for a Korean restaurant with fresh taste and clean atmosphere and Steeles Seoul House definitely delivered our wants! The food was really good and the staff was really friendly too! I truly recommend saeng sun jjim (fried fish with oyster sauce) and sam gae tang (whole chicken soup with ginseng)! it's definitely a must go place!!!

This is by far the best sushi in Toronto. The Kokyo roll is the best, along with a whole bunch of other special rolls. If you love sashimi, then get the Johnny roll. Love this place!

Since travelling to Japan a few years ago, I have been on an obsessive hunt for the city's best ramen noodles. My fiance and I have tried a bunch of different restaurants within the GTA but so far, no luck. We heard about Kenzo's from a family member and suggested we give the place a shot. Why not, what's the harm in trying?
First off, the parking for this place is very limited but don't let this deter you from visiting. Actually, one of the main reasons why I hadn't eaten here before is because of the terrible parking situation. Never again will I let parking be the deciding factor of where to eat. Good food is worth the effort!
As we entered the restaurant it had a very good atmosphere. They have done a great job of making the place resemble that of a restaurant in Japan. I kind of felt like I was back on my vacation the moment we sat down at our table.
The service was good but nothing special. The waitress simply brought us water, took our order and served the food. Typically, Japanese restaurants do a great job of greeting customers as they enter the front door but this place didn't. Either way, I'm not picky about service in general so don't let this stop you from eating here.
Now for the most important part - the food. I wasn't expecting the world as I've already been disappointed by so many ramen places in the city. My fiance and I ordered the same thing which happened to be a basic bowl of ramen - just like they do it in Japan! The portion size was very generous and the price was extremely affordable - only $6.95. After tasting the first bite of ramen I was thoroughly surprised! They actually got the texture of a ramen noodle right! I'll be honest, it wasn't perfect, but pretty damn close. My fiance agreed that this place had great ramen and she's just as picky as I am. We concluded that we would put this in our top 3 ramen places within the GTA. Not too shabby!
It's unfortunate that we still haven't been able to find a place that cooks ramen like they do in Japan. However, maybe it's not realistic to expect this of our city?
Kenzo, give yourself a pat on the back. So far you have done the best job of satisfying our quest for the perfect ramen!

My husband and I love Sushi........ so we have been to alot of different resturants in the city. We stumbled into Kumo one night just before Christmas, the place was empty and we were a little nervous at first but decided to stay anyways. The place smelt amazing, no sign of fishy-ness anywhere ( I refuse to eat at any sushi resturant that smells of fish)
The wonderful and energenic waitress came over and offered some sugestions to start, she suggested the sushi Terimsu 9unsure of spelling) my husband is always up for trying something new but I like my usual rolls and sashimi so I decided that I would try some of his instead of getting two. Let me tell you...... I think my husband got 1 bite. It was amazing!! We ordered a big party tray for dinner, the specialty rolls ( godzilla, spicy girl, kipling, superman) are the best I have ever had!
Sushi servings are massive, fish is incredible fresh.
The chef is absolutly amazing at what he does, we have been back 3 more times and now leave everything up to him, his home made sauces simple extra touches make the meal!!!
By far the best sushi in Toronto!!!!!!!!

I haven't really been to many sushi places but i really liked Fuji's, the only thing i didn't like was that the waiters didn't speak very good English and they seemed more into talking to themselves then the customers there.
The food and atmosphere was very nice, they were fast and efficient..
I don't know if they actually read the reviews, would be great if they did.

You would never guess by the outside appearance or by the minimalist restaurant decor, how good the food is here. Authentic Japanese experience in every way. Fresh sushi is extremely well prepared and presented. Every dish expertly combines complementary flavours that surpasses anything else in the city. A must for the sushi lover.
