My experience receives a 4 star only because Sarah was delightful to deal with. The male manager at this bank was rude and indifferent. The odd thing about it was, I had no dealings with him only Sarah, but he was dismissive both times he addressed me , not for a banking matter, just for being present in his bank. Guess he saw that I was a TD customer, required to transact at this branch for a specific payment. Sarah you are a doll - the manager needs to go retrain on iterative process!!! Lire plus
Guys, let me just get straight to the point.
Great people can transform any experience.
In the past I had a ton of negative experiences with banks, and when I was embarassed, sad, and down-and-out the gang at Bank Of Montreal Bay + College were like angels to me.
They believed in me, they got me back on my feet even when it looked like all the "rules" were against me. Essie, welcomed me in and put me in touch with my rep, John.
John heard my story, listened really well, and I felt understood, and when he went to Jessica (the oh-so-fantastic manager) to get approval for me, he really went to bat for me.
Since then I've had incredible help when I lost my card (twice!) and when some scammer-ATM tried to get my PIN, from Grace, Clea, Miles, Lui (sp?) and more.
I'm so thrilled with my experience with this particular branch, that I travelled a 2hr commute, just to keep it as my home branch, when I moved away temporarily.
Do banks get reviews like this often? I don't know, but I know what I feel and my experience, and I felt compelled to share.
