We purchased a package deal from Travelzoo for one night accomodation including dinner for two then breakfast for two. Meals and service in the dining room were wonderful although the beef tenderloin which we ordered for dinner was a bit dry and not all that appealing to the eye-just appeared like a thick hunk of meat on a plate. We were in room 303, bed linens definitely need improvement as do pillows which were so soft and mushy as to be non existent. Not Ontario's finest Inns quality.

This is primarilly a tea room that open to serve lunch only on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays - 11am to 3pm I believe. The setting is a country styled gift shop with tables and chairs & light music in the background. The views from the dining area are quite nice, and it's not unusual to see deer and other wildlife just outside the window. Everything is home made (soups & desserts). Very tasty food in a very relaxing atmosphere. We've been there so many times for tea, soup, and dessert that we've come to know the owner / operator a little bit (Maryln) - a very nice lady.

wow! this was amazing!! i so enjoyed the crunchy batter, the handcut fries, the creamy gravey and the fluffy dressing! its even family owned! i got lots of smiles and friendly service and while i was waiting for my fresh fish, i browsed thier wide selection of newfoundland wholesale. it is a small store but less is more!! i would recomend this to anyone with a taste for fish!!

I've used a lot of different gyms over the years, and I would say that The Pump House is good overall. It's not too expensive, and the caliber and amount of its equipment is decent. The gym is clean. And the people there are friendly and mind their own business. My only complaint is about the crappy music they have blaring non-stop on the stereo system. I'm sorry, but I just can't work out to Katy Perry. I guess I'll have to invest in a portable music player.

The Tied House Pub is a great place for fresh, local brewed beer. Here you can get beer with taste. Each draught brew has its own character and is quite distinctive from the others on tap. If you have never had good beer before I would recommend a few visits to the pub to try various beers - perhaps a couple of half pints each time. Have some soup and a sandwich and prepare to taste beer and not just wet air.

My fiancee had a dryer fire, and we had a LOT of items that needed dry cleaning. From clothes to drapes to blankets to stuffed animals, we had it all, and at least 6-8 bags full. We were treated well here. The guy gave us a good price and did the work quickly. The only reason I deducted one star was that some of the curtains came out shorter (there was a pair and one pair was smaller than the other). Generally though things came back fine.
