I recently used Buy Sell & Trade to get rid of a bunch of stuff around my house. I registered on their site and had some trouble so sent an email to their web master. He phoned me in the evening (ok, I was shocked!) and walked me through getting registered. I posted my stuff and within 20 minutes had received my first call. Best of all, all the ads online are also printed in their paper. To me that kinda covers all the off line people. I'm pleased with how easy the process is to use their site and that all the ads are checked for scams.

I ordered some spring clean up since it looked like the snow was gone here. I appreciated the prompt response from the company both when I asked to get a quote and how fast the work was completed. Really thankful for that. They actually took a couple old tree stumps that I hadn't paid to have them take but wanted cleared out. :) Finding a professional surrey lawn care company is not that easy. Well it hadn't been for me at least. These guys did a great job because they cleared out old debris and garbage and really brought my yard back and made it ready for spring. Just wanted to pass on my review. Thank you.

dr baker is the best rheumatologist in victoria.I was in a car accident last january which unfortunatly left me with wide spread body pain and unexplainable symptoms 6 diffrent drs where unable to dx me but when i finally was able to see dr baker for the first time he was able to dx me with in 10 min of seeing him.I would highly recommend this dr to anyone expecially if you are suffering with fibromyalgia like iam and arthritis.He cares about his patients and does everything in his power to help you control your pain.If you need to discuss anything to do with your medications he will return your phone call at the end of the day and if you email him he will email you back.I dont know of any specialist that will do this for his patients.Over all i would rate him with 5 stars.I would recommend him to my family and friends.He can be behind time but its only because he takes the time with his patients.

I love this shop. You can get great gifts, make up your own gift baskets and get great little kitchen gadgets and delicious little treats and fair trade coffee. The staff is so nice and helpful. You couldn't ask for a better little place to shop for your own home or for a friend or co-worker.

The title says it all. I am a big believer in the hand-written thank you note after job interviews or other business transactions. Most of the time, as a guy, even a griffinguy, you are given two choices for thank you cards...boring and flowery. Not at Buchan's. They carry an impressive selection of professional thank you cards and a whole host of other social stationery to meet every need you may have. The staff are always friendly and helpful too. Buchan's is the best choice for stationery in the city.

Even though I do a lot of book shopping online these days I still love going to Chapters and browsing the aisles and aisles and aisles of books. This store is great by virtue of its location and the knowledgeable staff who can guide you to almost any title in the store. It is also a great place to while away an afternoon flipping through books you may buy since the staff pretty much leaves you to your own devices if this is what you are choosing to do. They also have a great little gift section for unique and interesting gift items. They used to have a pretty good music section but this is being renovated right now...possibly because they are no longer going to carry music. Head into Chapters at Broadway and Granville and lose yourself in the books!

Bikram is one of my favorite types of yoga to practice - i love that the heat is usually very high in these classes and it is always an intense workout. bring a large towel - and lots of water!!!

Okay, I realize that there are not a tonne of public, and for that matter private, courses in the city but you could easily include any of the courses in the 'burbs and still call this the best course. Fraserview was once considered for the PGA tour and would have been used had the city let them lengthen a couple of holes. Oh well, perhaps this keeps this gem of a course a little less busy. Perched high up from the Fraser River you would never know you are smack dab in the middle of a major residential area of the city of Vancouver. Challenging and beautiful this course has another major thing going for it...the green fees. They are so reasonable it is shocking and particularly if you are playing with a junior the rates are very reasonable. The clubhouse is also excellent and offers a wide variety of food and drinks that you can enjoy on the patio while watching players come home on 18...for my money the most challenging hole on the course...but that may be because I lose a ball in the ravine every time I play there! If you are a golfer you HAVE to play Fraserview.

This garden store is located just off Marine Drive and is a must for the gardener in you. Carrying a huge variety of plants from 2 inch succulents to 25 foot trees this nursery is a great place for completely populating your garden or just filing in the gaps. If starting from scratch is more your speed they also carry a vast selection of seeds including a terrific selection of organic seeds. Of course, once you have your garden where you want it you're going to want to spend some time sitting in it and again Mandeville can help you here. Offering a wide slection of garden furniture there is something for everyone. They also offer a comprehensive selection of perfect gifts for the favourite gardeners in your life. My wife's mother even used to make the special trip to Mandeville from the Valley. Visit Mandeville and you too will see why they're that special.

The Vancouver Aquarium's location can't be beat and neither can the experience they offer. We have been members for the last 4 years and despite dozens of trips we always see something new on every single trip. With a variety of themed areas and literally thousands of sea creatures to see, the Vancouver Aquarium is a great way to while away an afternoon. Make sure you check out the Dolphin show and the shark tank is a great place to watch the sharks and wonder why they don't eat the fish in the tank with them. I also highly recommend the membership option since two visits pays for the membership and then every other visit in that year is basically free. We've been known to go to the aquarium for an hour just because we needed to kill a bit of time...and what a great way to do so! Also of special note are the birthday parties they offer for kids. A great deal, especially for members, and the best part is getting to go behind the scenes with your knowledgeable tour guide. Check out the Vancouver Aquarium and watch the delight in your family's faces.
