When the owner, Steve, heard about the fact I couldn't get our vehicles out of the garage, he immediately gave me the first appointment of the day and fixed our garage door with professionalism and excellent workmanship. We try to get to Barney's every couple of weeks. The food is really good. I love the home made fries. Of course everything is home made. The desserts are fabulous although I usally have to take mine home. I have tried numerous items over the years and have never been disappointed. It's a good idea to make reservations for dinner. The place is always busy.

Change over in staff within the last year or two and it makes a world of difference to go in and speak to someone who is knowledgeable and appreciates your business! Winnipeg Beach location is by far the friendliest and has been most helpful for our home insurance, MPI and all our toy insurance.

Have a beer in the oldest bar in Manitoba, established in the 1880s in the area where the railroad was supposed to go. It is an authentic kind of place, rootsy, not fancy, no airs. Varied clientele. Friendly staff.

We eat at Jonesys at least once a week. The food is always hot and fresh and tasty. The prime rib with Yorkshire pudding on weekends is tender and delicious and the Yorkshire pudding is so good, I feel like I'm in England. Also they make excellent ribs and steak too. Dinners include homemade soup or a salad and the portions are big. We always leave with full bellies.

Had a difficult to remove clog in the main line. John from this company made the house call. He was fast and very well priced. He even gave me some scrap pieces for the reno I'm doing in the bathroom.
