Just visited this reno'd restaurant. Had two orders of wings (1.5lbs for price of 1lb on Tuesdays) and some beer. GREAT wings, nice atmosphere ... very clean. Wings were hot, beer was cold. Prices reasonable. I will not go to other restaurants for wings again. This place is consistent, clean and in a good location.

This is one of those family restaurant places that you get a ton of food for what you pay. When we order takeout, we spend maybe about $10 a person. $15 at most.
The atmosphere is really relaxed and cozy with some nice booths and personable staff. (Lights are a little dim.) The orange chicken is one of the best dishes here and vegetables are good. This is probably NOT the place to get really authentic stuff though.
Overall a sweet Hamilton spot.

Last weekend we were a party of 21 in the small function room beside the dining room. Our group was all ages from 18 - 80. Everyone ordered something different off of the menu from the sea food platter to the turkey dinner. Food was great; well prepared, hot, service was friendly. We were all very pleased. I've been here for dinner, and breakfast twice before - thank you for a great night - we'll be back :)

When it comes to fine dining, Lord Nelsons definitely does not disappoint. With delicious food and quality service, I would have to say this is one of the classiest restaurants in the Hamilton area.
The first thing you notice when you walk in is the warming and peaceful atmosphere. There are only a handful of tables and a bar in the whole restaurant and it makes for a almost private and intimate dinner experience. This is not a jeans and t-shirt type of place, everyone inside is dressed professional and fancy. I would recommend a dress and heels for the women and dress pants and button down shirt for the men. And obviously from my previous statements this is not really what I would call a family restaurant. With the close tables and quiet music I would think children would feel out of place at an establishment like this. Nonetheless I feel like it is a great date night place, very romantic and relaxing.
The menu I would say is perfect for the restaurant. It includes a variety of different meal choices but doesn't overwhelm the customer. We had chosen the Peppercorn steak and the Filet mignon for our main courses. I would say that they were better then what I expected, cooked and seasoned perfectly, I would definitely recommend there food to anyone. The main courses range anywhere from $20 - $60 which is a little higher then your average dinner but in the end I think it is worth the little extra price for the quality.
The only concern I had about going here was their location. It was a little difficult to find as it is located in a small plaza tucked away beside a laundromat. Also the exterior of the restaurant is not what you would expect for a high class place like this, and I didn't find it all that appealing. The front doors are very Castle like and there are no windows at all. At first glance I thought it was closed. But if you can get past that It was great experience and I would recommend it to anyone.

Very fast friendly service. The waitress recommended a deliciious pasta dish. All the food was great. Great for birthday parties (children) Tables are covered with paper so young children can colour or draw while waiting to keep them content. Great family atmosphere. Bring one bring all. A fine place to dine.

awesome like always.....i wish some other brantford restaurants were as good as this place....they seated us quickly,took our orders within 5-10 min....we ordered filet mignon and was cooked and tasted perfect.....

Typical chain resto.. but looks like they have a format that works! They still hire the typical kids to run the place, but they have a plan in place to help ensure the customers' satisfaction. They do everything they can now, to ensure everything is in the bag before you leave the takeout window, and the food is quite good, for what it is too!
One time recently, there was something missing, I called, and the manager on duty took care of me appropriately.

The times I have shopped at Nardini's have always been excellent. They have a great product, and the staff helpful. My son and his wife who no longer live in this area never pass up a chance to stock up on their sausage and other meats, while visiting here. If we are travelling to their area, we are asked to bring along their favourite meats, sauce or whatever.
