I love coming to Vandermeer to look for plants. Even if I don't find what I'm looking for, it's wonderful to see the fish and very relaxing to watch the turtles lounging around. This is the place to shop in the spring and summer - such a variety of plants.

Best selection of plants outside the GTA, healthy and fairly priced. I drive over from Kingston every May and look forward to it. Helpful staff too. Highly recommended.

The nursery has a down to Earth vibe and its staff are more informed than other nurseries in the area. Prices began to rise in the last 2-3 years but this place is still more affordable than Sheridan. Complaints about emerald cedars not living should not solely be put on the nursery but planting and watering. The staff are busy so getting special treatment is difficult (referring to previous comments)
