The nursery has a down to Earth vibe and its staff are more informed than other nurseries in the area. Prices began to rise in the last 2-3 years but this place is still more affordable than Sheridan. Complaints about emerald cedars not living should not solely be put on the nursery but planting and watering. The staff are busy so getting special treatment is difficult (referring to previous comments)

I love coming to Vandermeer to look for plants. Even if I don't find what I'm looking for, it's wonderful to see the fish and very relaxing to watch the turtles lounging around. This is the place to shop in the spring and summer - such a variety of plants.

always so helpful for flowers, plants and supplies and propane fill-up..why go to Costco when Viking is just around the corner and much cheaper then local gas stations..

As a professional driver for 38 years if they say it is to dangerous to deliver believe they I have topsoil delivered occasionally and tell them where but always give them options trucks are expensive
