Magnifique lieu. L'architecture est assez impressionnante et la vue sur Ottawa et la colline parlementaire vaut le détour. Impatient de découvrir le 3eme etage et l'histoire du Canada. Les salles sur les tradictions des peuples autochtones sont vraiment réussies. Ca manque un peu d'explications malgré tout. Expo temporaire sur le hockey très sympa. Le film es par contre très banal. Mais cela fait du bien de faire une pause après avoir marché longtemps.

Enjoyed the spacious suites ...a few dollars more than a regular room was worth every penny. Very comfortable bedding , fully equipped kitchens and great service made me feel completely at home.

I came here with my friends first time in this restaurant. We ordered a few standard dishes -sweet and sour pork, Cantonese chow main and green beans with minced pork. The dishes are good we all love the food and the service is good to. The first time experience is good for all of us, we all like to visit here again..

My wife and I first met Sam during the restoration of our first home. We didn't know a lot about bricks or mortar at the time. Sam took the time to explain what was best for our specific situation and actually saved us money by steering us away from an unnecessary pricey "solution" I was willing to finance. Sam wasn't the cheapest quote we received but he took the time to make sure we got it right - no shortcuts! We ended up selling our home and because of Sam's work. Great job

On the way back from a visit to Montreal from Ottawa had the pleasure of visiting this restaurant on the ride home after reading all the wonderful reviews, and boy we are glad we did. The food is amazing, everything is homemade and they staff makes you feel like your a part of the family.

Called Doug on a Holiday Monday. He came over and observed a dangerous situation. Cleared time and came the next day. Took tree down and the cleanup was exceptional. Very pleasant to deal with. Highly recommended.

We ordered the Beef tenderloin crostini, pork belly, baby back ribs, and black cod. The pork belly was the crispest and least fatty that I've ever had, it was spectacular. The flavors on the crostini were very good, the cherry chutney and dijon aioli went very well together. And the ribs... much better than any I've had at a Ribfest. My GF said the black cod was the tastiest fish she had ever had. The ambiance is nice cottage country, the dining room intimate with only four tables. A definite repeat!.
