I have used this shop times over the years and have always been very happy with the service and care I received. I believe they are honest with appraisals and work, and fair with prices. I once owned a FORD that had electrical issues, Ford dealership did not know how to fix their own vehicle. I brought it to Southside and they repaired it for me, no problems. I am very thankful I found them and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

The vets and staff really took the time and cared about my dog Spyro, they all treated her so well. When she had to be put down due to illness and old age (18 y.o.) they were compassionate and sincere.
I am forever thankful to them for extending my little girls life and keeping her as active and healthy as possible right to the end.

Bought a used car that needed some repairs. Whiterock Automotive was recommended by some of my co workers so, I called and booked in for service. John and his team were excellent. After the inspection all concerns were clearly communicated. John listed repairs in priority order and I appreciated that they were honest about what needed to be fixed and what could wait. Always fair with mechanic rates and prices on parts. I only trust John and his team with the care of my car.

I had been been online looking for my ring that was missing for 6 months . A Ford service dealer had flagged the need to replace the brake pads of my Ford F 350 tow truck. I made an appointment with Budget Brake & Muffler in Coquitlam, BC to replace my brake pads before embarking on a RV trip. I was pleasantly surprised when John Sinkie told me that my brakes were good for another 20,000 k’s & did not need replacing at this time. I find this honesty refreshing & rare. I will be using Budget Brake in Coquitlam for the service needs of all my vehicles. Well done John.

I've used Rob since he opened and he is the only mechanic I trust. While on a road trip to Ontario I had mechanical problems and phoned him for advice before going to the dealer.
Great customer service, professional, works fast, Great price. Never felt like I was up sold. Rob is honest and hard working. He also does his part for the community by hiring and training apprentices to pass on his knowledge. Highly recommend

The store is clean, selection is decent even with the Covid 19, staff is generally helpful. Their prices are good, beyond competitive on most things though you do need to watch the expiry dates on some items. Only time I shop elsewhere these days is if they dont have something I absolutely need.
