The Nahanni Inn Dining Room is a clean, comfortable place to have a quick bite, however, if you are looking for fine dining, this might not be the place to go. That being said, there is not much option in Fort Simpson. The meal was hot and filling, the burger was processed and the fries were cooked from frozen. The hot turkey sandwich was made with oven roasted turkey (cooked on-site). Overall a nice place with friendly staff and decent food.

The soup at the Chocolate Claim is exceptional. Good variety, fresh, homemade and hearty. Come early for lunch, they try not to make too much and later comers may be disappointed.
