I don't think you can go wrong with that place. I went there for my birthday, best service I had and how great to enjoy the melody of the piano in the background. The filet mignon was great and I can't wait to try the oysters and hopefully I get lucky enought to sit on the roof top patio during summer!

I trust these guys with all of my medications. Very very thorough and takes great care of patients. Always go out of their way to solve my problems, even my ostomy stuff! Highly recommended.

The staff are friendly, very knowledgeable about what birds are resident in Vancouver and when and more importantly what you need to put out to attract them to your yard. In addition, they offer an outstanding selection of every type of feeder you can imagine from a simple window ledge feeder through to a birds' version of an all you can eat buffet. But the products don't stop at feed and feeders. They also offer field guides, nature themed gifts, binoculars and all sorts of other products to appeal to the wild bird enthusiast in you. Even better...if you get really serious about feeding the birds in your backyard, like we have, you can stock up when the seed is on sale! By purchasing multiple bags they will keep a record of your purchase and let you come in and pick up a bag here and a bag there as you need it. I love Taf's. It has a Berlinesque feel to it and is one of kind. Such a relief in this franchised world! AND There are not TV's in every corner annoying the patrons. The art and music adds a unique atmosphere which is very pleasurable. It has an underground feeling with cozy seating upstairs. I always go to TAF's when I'm Downtown.

This is my measuring-stick for good food in Vancouver. This is my awesomeness in a meal.
I've been here twice. Both times for my birthday. Both times the waiting staff were wonderful (even bringing out a birthday cake with my name on it), but even if they weren't, I'd come back here for the food.
This place is an indulgence - bare that in mind - you're not here to skimp with a salad, you're here to try amazing game done RIGHT.
I've had the venison, and I've had the wild boar. My mom has tried the game hen (so I had some) and I can't remember what else. It was so good that I honestly thought I should take it into a room and be alone with it, maybe buy it a drink and tell it how pretty it was before devouring it. Tender, succulent, rich, decadent - I don't think there are enough adjectives to describe how good the food is here, my tummy just growled because I'm writing this review instead of getting myself to DF's ASAP.
Honestly - the place is romantic - it's awesome for a candlelit anniversary dinner. The food is stupendous, and the service is excellent.
Now you see why they're my measuring stick, non?
