It isn't easy, finding someone you can do the hard stuff and trust that they Show You The Way. I've been in and out of therapy since my teens. Some I fired. Some I gave blind faith. Some were probably good but I know too much and gave them a good fight. Some the timing was off or their goals didn't work with mine. I've been blessed with two who GOT me, got it. Finding a landscaping design and construction company that is dedicated to excellence, and who pride themselves in designing and building landscapes that stand the test of time is certainly challenging. It was for us, but one simple drive-by a previous project completed by Landworks and we were sold. The quality of their workmanship and their attention to the smallest detail is unlike any landscaping work we have ever seen, ranking them second to none.
As a result, the company books up quickly. We booked in the summer of 2012 for a start date of spring 2013. During that time, the owner of the company, Danny, met with us several times to go over, in detail, timelines, goals, budgets, custom landscape designs, the construction process, and maintenance of the project. With Danny's creativity, artistic ability, and extensive knowledge of landscaping materials and products, we came up with a unique landscape design that not only fit our budget, but also utilized the existing elements of our property, including limited frontage space, trees, and ravine lot.
The courtesy and professionalism displayed by not only Danny, but also his crew was very impressive, to say the least. In addition, neighbours raved about their hard-work ethic, top-notch service, and job-site cleanliness. Danny has a very pleasant personality which makes working with him enjoyable. Great service at a time we needed it most. Flood waters stormed our basement and hit our furnace. I called Hy-Pro and the next day on a Saturday they were in and had the furnace up and going. Also pointed out and fixed some fittings and valves that werent to code. Thanks again guys

Part way through the week long ENDURrun 160KM stage race this past summer I started battling back spasms along with the distance. The pain was impairing my breathing and freedom of motion. After each stage, and in the one off day, Dr. Colin worked on my back to ensure I was ready for the next race day. i not only completed my fastest ENDURrun but ended it with a personal best marathon time to finish the week. I continued with a few more weeks of treatment, with both Colin and Dr. Erika the naturopath, which put an end to the spasms and let me enjoy the rest of my ultra racing season pain free. I had a job for two trees in my backyard. While one had to be cut, another needed to be saved as it was tilted towards my neighbor's yard. All the other companies wanted to cut the tilted tree. These guys however gave me quality advice (which counts for a lot) and used an alternative to try and correct the tree - used a powerful cobra cable to stabilize it - effectively saving it. I was so happy that they saved it. Very good quality work for both the cut tree and the stabilized one (they managed to bring it back to its normal position) - and they had the lowest price out of all the 5 companies that gave me a quote!

Bikram is one of my favorite types of yoga to practice - i love that the heat is usually very high in these classes and it is always an intense workout. bring a large towel - and lots of water!!!
