Welcome to National Diabetes Trust, Canada’s largest charitable clothing and small household goods collection service and the social enterprise of Diabetes Canada. With more than 3,000 donation bins and an active home pick-up service in communities across Canada, we collect unwanted gently used clothing and household items to raise much-needed funds for Diabetes Canada. This helps support programs and research on behalf of the 11 million Canadians living with diabetes and pre-diabetes. But, we’re more than just clothing donation collectors. We are an organization of dedicated professionals working with Canadians from coast to coast fighting to End Diabetes through waste diversion. Each year, the program diverts more than 100 million lbs. of clothing and household items from landfill sites across Canada. Youth In Action Canada Community Outreach (YIACCO) partners with other organizations & businesses in our communities to create opportunities for mentoring our youth for strong leadership that will impact their family, their peers and their community to effect positive changes now and the future. All youths deserve to have the best out of life regardless of their nationality, race, religion or creed. YIACCO is a non-profit organization committed to finding and, providing the tools and the environment that will foster growth and development for youths to become self-reliant, efficient, and productive members of society.
