The two words that everyone wants to hear when referring to laser hair treatment…."IT WORKS". After reading countless reviews on several websites and hearing sceptical results, I decided to give laser hair removal a try, anything has to be better then a brazilian right??
I choose Elan Beauty because after shopping around with free consultations, Tammy was the only one who seemed down to earth, realistic, and honest. She didn't make any false claims or promises.
I rarely write reviews, but feel compelled to write about my entirely positive experience with Elan Beauty. After only four treatments of laser hair removal, I am hair free! All gone! Amazing !
Tammy and her team are very knowledgeable and educated me very truthfully on what to expect. They made me feel very relaxed and well taken care of before, during, and after the treatments. The salon is clean, has other great products to offer, and has an easy online booking system that I found very convenient. Other salons make false promises, charge twice as much, and are not nearly as friendly as Elan. Stop searching, choose this salon, and get an effective treatment that will leave you as happy as I am !
I have also had waxing and electrolysis done here and would highly recommend them these treatments as well.

I was recently treated by Dr. M. Reskovich for an emergency tooth extraction. The extraction was of a molar and turned into a full surgical procedure, including bone augmentation. This was my first visit to Dr. Reskovich's practice. I am a retired dentist myself and I cannot emphasize enough about the skill, care and attention I received. Dr. Reskovich and his staff were most professional and truly caring. Dr. Reskovich administered the needle very gently and his hands were most skilled as he tackled a difficult extraction with patience. The office was clean and bright; the staff were cheerful and accommodating. I had the pleasure today of talking with Christine in the pilates studio. I was in for physiotherapy treatment and happened to overhear another client talking about doing pilates there. I was directed to the upstairs studio and was impressed with the decor and cleanliness of the studio. I got a tour, and had the machines and rooms explained to me right then and there. Thank you for all the great info!

My roommate and I recently went into Lush to browse and the customer service we received was fantastic. When we showed interest in the bubble bars and bath bombs, an employee immediately demoed them. She discussed our product needs with us and showed us several options around the store--in many cases, she explained exactly how to use them to get the best benefit out of the product. This fantastic service was a welcomed experience and has won my loyalty. Plus, they have plenty of vegan-friendly products for us conscientious consumers! :)

Working with Randall Friedman over the past months has changed my life. Through deep tissue massage pain and tension has been released in my back, shoulders and neck. I now move easily and am able to exercise and enjoy life to the fullest. We recently went on a trip to Africa and got a bunch of our supplies from MEC including mosquito nets, sleeping bags, quick dry and wicking clothes, hiking boots etc. There was a great girl working there that had just been to Africa and gave us a preview of what we could expect. We were well prepared. GREAT EXPERIENCE!

Yaletown Brewing Company was one of the first restaurants involved in the revitalization of Yaletown and the fact that they're still here has got to tell you something. They make good food and, since they are a brew pub, they make great beer. Like all the other Mark James Group restaurants they offer the cheap beer and pizza nights that my family and I enjoy so much but quite often we head here for all the other great items on the menu too! If you can't decide which beer you want to try ask the server for one of their tasting flights where you get four different beers to sample. The location is outstanding and they have a lounge on one side and restaurant on the other so if you just want drinks and appys after work they are a great spot to choose! Last time we were there I had the Jakarta bowl with lamb tenderloin in a soy sauce with peppers and it was outstanding, My folks were with us and they swore by the fish and chips as well. One other cool thing that Yaletown does is if there is a game on at Rogers Arena they offer shuttle service to the game. So go on down to Yaletown Brewing Company and check them out!

Okay, I realize that there are not a tonne of public, and for that matter private, courses in the city but you could easily include any of the courses in the 'burbs and still call this the best course. Fraserview was once considered for the PGA tour and would have been used had the city let them lengthen a couple of holes. Oh well, perhaps this keeps this gem of a course a little less busy. Perched high up from the Fraser River you would never know you are smack dab in the middle of a major residential area of the city of Vancouver. Challenging and beautiful this course has another major thing going for it...the green fees. They are so reasonable it is shocking and particularly if you are playing with a junior the rates are very reasonable. The clubhouse is also excellent and offers a wide variety of food and drinks that you can enjoy on the patio while watching players come home on 18...for my money the most challenging hole on the course...but that may be because I lose a ball in the ravine every time I play there! If you are a golfer you HAVE to play Fraserview.

My wife is a big theatre fan - and I can always count on the Belfry to have something that we will both really enjoy. Paired with a nice dinner it is a great night out! You can pre-book seats and even buy a snack to pair with your show.

Even better...if you get really serious about feeding the birds in your backyard, like we have, you can stock up when the seed is on sale! By purchasing multiple bags they will keep a record of your purchase and let you come in and pick up a bag here and a bag there as you need it. Visit Wild Birds Unlimited is perfect for all your backyard bird feeding needs!

This is my favourite restaurant. period. I don't get the chance to travel to Vancouver much but we've debated flying in just for dinner at Ouisi. There isn't a thing on the menu you should not order. Great portion sizes, great flavours - I crave them while back home in Ontario.
