heard amazing things about the pizza here so tried it out recently on a thurs nite...restaurant was super busy but the staff was very accommodating to our group of 12...instead of us pushing a bunch of tables together, they have huge wooden table covers that let big groups sit together...very unique...got a pitcher of rolling rock (hard to find in this city) and a huge pizza for under 30 bucks total...good vibe...great service and quality food...will def be back

I visited this establishment with some potential clients the other day and was taken back by the service we had. I must say the food was great, but what sets this venue apart from others, is quality of customer service we were provided with. The Manager himself made his way to our table and ensured we were happy with our orders, which we were. My clients who were from the States were happy and we also got a deal done. The overall atmosphere was pleasent and certainly a place that will be in mind everytime I need to take clients out. A big thank you to the staff and Management team

Very fast friendly service. The waitress recommended a deliciious pasta dish. All the food was great. Great for birthday parties (children) Tables are covered with paper so young children can colour or draw while waiting to keep them content. Great family atmosphere. Bring one bring all. A fine place to dine.

We took our two daughters to the Keg this evening and the food was very good. Our steaks were cooked to perfection, the sides were all warm and everything was very flavourful. The kids menu, colouring items and special details (fruit/veg right away) made it a great family location. Our only issue was the service. We spent a lot of time waiting for the server to come check on us and the kids started getting whiny.

I had an opportunity to make a return visit to this relatively new and purpose-built Keg recently for a family reunion. I’ve always liked this location's dining room. It is boldly elegant with the sort of wood tones one expects in a steakhouse but without them being overtly masculine. Several fireplaces add points of visual attraction.
The dining room was already completely full of local meat lovers at six so we accepted corner tables in the lounge that proved to be a fairly comfortable location sufficiently apart from others to afford privacy.
I enjoy quaffing a crisp ale with my meals, but discovered The Keg now only offers mediocre Molson products so we deferred to the wine list for a couple of decent Shiraz to share. I recall in its early days out west this chain was a staunch promoter of local and particularly well crafted beers. Like most chains, the bean counters eventually got control and quality suffers. People with a sound knowledge of food and beverages need to lead these companies and ignore the rebate-bait the major breweries offer for exclusivity.
All our food was quite acceptable, but pricey. Most of us started with the Escargot ($9) that seemed less garlicky than previous renderings. My massive $42 Rib Steak came precisely as ordered, perfectly medium rare with an aggressive salty char outside and moist redness inside. Other than the dominant salt and pepper flavors, there wasn't much of the distinctive well-aged beefiness a 28-day aged steak should bring to the table at that price point. It was a lean cut without visible marbling that might have been the reason for its muted flavour. It was accompanied on the plate by asparagus spears, grilled red pepper, and sautéed mushrooms that lurked under the flared salad bowl containing my economical portion of Caesar Salad. That standard presentation of a salad bowl on the plate needs to be re-thought as it makes combat with the steak a more challenging event than necessary. We also discovered the lounge’s tables don’t quite accommodate full meal service.
Throughout our meal the cheerful staff serving us was self assured and professional, a sign of good training that lamentably has become increasingly rare in chain restaurants. But the three young women at the host stand who were apparently hired because each owned a revealing black dress saw no advantage to thanking customers as they were leaving.

For what it is, a overelaborite pita pit is it amazing. Food is amazing , the staff is very nice and you get alot of food. The wait time is a bit long but considering that it is all cooked fresh it is not a big deal. The most important thing is for me is the work area is clean and you are not worried about eating the food

Went on Mothers Day worrying that we wouldn't get a table and wait for hours. The kind hostess mentioned that there was a wait but we were welcome to sit and eat at the bar.
We did and it was one of the best lunch experiences I've ever had. The restaurant was clearly busy, but the bartender made time to take care of us, engage in conversation, and overall ensure that we had a great lunch. He was pretty cute too..;) Everyone was in a great mood, everything was clean, and despite the volume, the staff were awesome.
I look forward to making a repeat visit and sampling other items on the apparently new menu....5 stars.

Definitely worth the trek, this place has great food, entertaining atmo and super models serving your table! Super busy so don't expect a table during the dinner rush, at least not without a wait. We ordered burgers, and were not at all disappointed! Not only is the bun perfectly crisp, but it has so much flavour with a bit of heat, unlike most burgers and fries where you only taste the grease.
You need the good food because you need an excuse to come here coz your wife/girlfriend/mum will suspect it is to bathe in blonde super models and the excuse is good

This place has the BEST Tzatziki sauce ever, it is SO good. I always get extra servings and put it on everything, because it tastes amazing with all the flavours.
My friend and I usually get the same thing and share. Their portions are reasonable sizes for the prices they offer. I love that they come with rice and salad :)
The server is also friendly and is always smiling eventhough he is conservative. Their interior reflects warm tones and even the patio is a good place to eat.
Try the stuffed eggplant, it is absolutely delicious! My absolute favourite :)
Hands down, the best middle eastern cuisine in KW!

My family and I have been patron's of the Charcoal Steakhouse for about 40 years - since it's location on Weber Street where Zhers is now. I was a little girl when we used to go there on Sundays. In recent years, my friends and I attend Martini's for birthdays and other special occasions so I would say between the Charcoal, Martini's and Del Dante's, I attend there for dinner about 6 or 7 times a year (average once every 2 months). The Charcoal has always been my favourite restaurant and I order NOTHING but the "individual meaty ribs" with the brown sugar sauce. I have always been happy that you could order them in Martini's as well.
Last night was my birthday, and again my two girlfriend's and I attended Martini's to celebrate. In recent years instead of ordering the rib dinner, I order a French onion soup (the best ever) with 2 of the "individual meaty ribs" (this is how it was stated on the menu). Last night, the ribs came with one bone and was the same size as one rib always was in the past. When I told the waiter I had ordered 2, he said they take out every second bone but you get the meat of both ribs. I advised they had never done that before and the rib (which he said was the meat of two) was the same size as it always was. He got a woman who I assum was a manager and she said "they had always done it that way". My girlfriend and I argued with her saying we had been coming for years and there was always 2 ribs criss-crossed on the plate (2 bones). She said again "they had always done it this way" and then I find out she has only worked there 8 or 9 months (so obviously she had no idea what they had "always done"). I wondered how they did the dinner now as it had always been 6 ribs and my mom and dad split it when they go there (3 each). She said that the dinner is a rack of ribs which is 12 but since every second bone is removed, it looks like 6. Why then had the menu always said "6 individual meaty ribs"? She got the General Manager who offered us an extra rib each and took the item off the bill which was great of him however, I am still concerned with the "new:" presentation on the plate. I don't care what was said (apparently they asked the cook) It was only ONE rib not two. I was told by the waiter that the owner was there and I could talk to him but then was told by the General Manager that he wasn't there. I do appreciate the lengths to which the General Manager went to make my friends and myself happy but if that is what they are doing now, I probably won't order that again as the value for what they call 2 ribs is not worth $7 as it was only a couple of bites.
Also, when the reservation was made my girlfriend was asked if it was a special occasion (which they always aske) and they always bring a little desert to share but not this time.
As stated this is my favourite restaurant and I hate to complain about it (I have never complaned about it in 40 years) but if this is the chef's decision, someone should talk to him that it really looks like the owners are getting greedy and offering less food for the same price.

I'm impressed by the new Goose and Gridirion as a Fergus resident, The new owners have done a great job with the renovations, cleaning the place up and the food is fabulous. It;s now a friendly local watering hole with great music. I'm there regularly and I've never been disappointed

Koto sushi is fantastic. I work nearby and went her after with some office buds instead of the usual shoeless joes burger. The sushi is absolutely phenomenal, probably the best sushi ive had in Ontario. Service is fast. I would recommend all you can eat. they give you so much variety and it just keeps on coming. I definitely plan on coming back again and would recommend this to couples or groups of friends looking for something new.
