Being from Alabama, I have had fresh oysters Gulf fresh. I can say hands down, this was the best oysters and fish I have ever had. Service was amazing and food was priced fairly. 10/10 recommend.

Decided to have dinner with my mom, sistet and 16months old neice as my mom was celebrating her birthday. Server had a poor attitude, was not pleasant nor engaging. All she did was take orders and not even efficiently; she did not even apologise about bring us the wronf order, she never came back to check in as the other servers did with their guests. She never even tried to upsell for dessert or offer any tips on what she thought was a good drink. She provided less than basic service. poor poor

I loved my first visit to Vincent's Place!
The food is plentiful and delicious, and served in such a classy atmosphere. The staff are delightful, so friendly and warm you feel like family!
The decor is very interesting as you find an old world charm with splashes of oddity. The oddity being the fascinating portraits painted by Vincent him self of his regular customers back in the day.

Nobo created probably the best contemporary Japanese fusion restaurants in all of Toronto. from the starter, drink, to even the dessert - a must try experience. Even the location is a blend of Japanese reliance on word of mouth in a indescreet area If you can call Caddys as a Canadian landmark.
Try the Pizza. She even uses the Tatami server.

Another delicious meal at Umberto's last night, with great service, a quiet table, and an unpretentious atmosphere. A side note, but important, they hit just the right note with the background music. Smooth jazz at just enough volume to enjoy. It was fairly quiet for a Thursday night, but the other half dozen or so tables were also filled with diners expressing their appreciation for a good meal.
Beef carpaccio was, like all the dishes, the perfect size portion. My husband and I shared it well as the bruschetta, which was a little too cheesy for me but perfect for him. The chef salad is a great mix of greens and veg with a nice vinaigrette. The ostrich and kangaroo - what can I say - grilled/sauteed just beautifully and mouthwateringly delicious. The Shiraz reduction was a very nice accompaniment to the kangaroo. Both entrees were served with roasted veg and potatoes, nicely seasoned, as well as a charming little fresh vegetable relish/slaw on radicchio. Shared a bottle of 2009 Rosemount Cab Shiraz, chosen from the small but interesting wine list, proved a good choice. We lingered over tiramisu and flourless chocolate hazelnut cake, preferring the tiramisu. The "Umberto" specialty coffee was a lovely finish to the meal. Ingredients were fresh, attention was paid to presentation, and the service was very attentive yet not intrusive. We will definitely be back. (I will try the seafood pasta next time - 3 of the table of 6 near us ordered it as their favorite)

Well stocked West Indian and East Indian food store...everything you need from the West Indies and India...many items you cannot get at most Supermarkets or food stores..all though it is a bit far for me (as I don’t have a car) I take 3 to 4 buses to get there..or sometimes in the summer or favourable weather..I use my three wheel electric bike..which has a large basket at the back that I can put enough supplies to keep me till I go back again..

My Husband & I went in August for our Anniversary and had a great time! Food was excellent, had the prime rib and melted in your mouth! The server brought us a special dessert which was unexpected and made our night!

I wanted to provide a great meal for my staff that was different from the normal subs and wraps. Fed 60 people chicken, potatoes, rice and salad for a very good price. My staff are still complimenting the food. Excellent option for a break from the normal.
