My stay here was lovely! The front desk clerk was very friendly and upon noticing my motorcycle helmet (and perhaps the flies in my teeth) gave me a great room where I could park the bike right outside the door. She also gave me a towel to clean the bugs off the bike!! A bus load of guests arrived the same time as I did, but everyone had their room keys in record time! Very organized. The food, service and atmosphere in the restaurant were excellent as were all of the staff I crossed paths with. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner and understand why this is a great place to stay! Highly recommended!

We had a great stay. Cabin was comfortable, and very clean. Highly recommended and will definitely be back for another snowmobile trip at Jackie’s Place .

There are very few roadside restaurants on the Viking Trail so I expected any we found to be pretty bad and only somewhere to eat out of desperation. However, L & E is definitely worth a stop. We initially stopped heading north for lunch but loved it so much that we intentionally planned to stop again for breakfast when returning south. Both meals were absolutely delicious without being remotely greasy. Service was friendly. The value can't be beaten! This is by far the best place I've eaten in Newfoundland - the quality of the food far surpassed that of more expensive restaurants.
