On the weekend I dropped by because I learned that they had Lugtread Lagered Ale on tap. The hostess said that they were serving Sunday brunch and that sitting at the bar was awkward. However, soon, a waiter brought in a bar stool and soon I was sipping my fave beer on tap. It was a sunny day so the view was great, bartender friendly and as a bonus there was a keyboard player singing a whole host of great songs. I will definitely go back for beer...only place in town that serves Lugtread Ale. (I did not eat, but I had to click a food rating to save my review !)

When it comes to fine dining, Lord Nelsons definitely does not disappoint. With delicious food and quality service, I would have to say this is one of the classiest restaurants in the Hamilton area.
The first thing you notice when you walk in is the warming and peaceful atmosphere. There are only a handful of tables and a bar in the whole restaurant and it makes for a almost private and intimate dinner experience. This is not a jeans and t-shirt type of place, everyone inside is dressed professional and fancy. I would recommend a dress and heels for the women and dress pants and button down shirt for the men. And obviously from my previous statements this is not really what I would call a family restaurant. With the close tables and quiet music I would think children would feel out of place at an establishment like this. Nonetheless I feel like it is a great date night place, very romantic and relaxing.
The menu I would say is perfect for the restaurant. It includes a variety of different meal choices but doesn't overwhelm the customer. We had chosen the Peppercorn steak and the Filet mignon for our main courses. I would say that they were better then what I expected, cooked and seasoned perfectly, I would definitely recommend there food to anyone. The main courses range anywhere from $20 - $60 which is a little higher then your average dinner but in the end I think it is worth the little extra price for the quality.
The only concern I had about going here was their location. It was a little difficult to find as it is located in a small plaza tucked away beside a laundromat. Also the exterior of the restaurant is not what you would expect for a high class place like this, and I didn't find it all that appealing. The front doors are very Castle like and there are no windows at all. At first glance I thought it was closed. But if you can get past that It was great experience and I would recommend it to anyone.

The Bruschetta, Caesar salad, and Chicken Bruschetta pizza were excellent. Alex our server was friendly, and we received exceptional service. We have been to Cavallo Nero many times and are
never disappointed. Another compliment for Alex, she is the best!

This restaurant created a very pleasant and appealing atmosphere. I was pleased with the warm welcoming received upon arrival. The place has been on Locke for years and every visit I have had only the best service. The staff are very accommodating and deal well with any request you may have. The Beasley House has a very warm and comfortable feeling as the dinning area only seats around 30 people. The menu offers a vast array of options and will suit the need of any type of customer. Anywhere from seafood and steak to hamburgers and fries, which is really helpful when dining with a larger, different group of people. The restaurant is especially appealing to me in the summer time as I spend a lot of time on Hamilton's trendy Locke street and the Beasley House is the only one with a patio??!!! Great place for lunch, as the owner always provides exceptional service, and never rushes you ! Overall, my experience was great and I would definitely recommend and return!!

The Bean Bar is a really good low key restaurant in the Westdale neighbourhood. They provide an extensive menu with a wide variety to choose from at a reasonable price.
The food is fantastic and comes in portions that are not overwhelming where you can't finish it - just perfect. I brought my parents here to see what it was like and it exceeded their expectations.
I had the ham and maple cranberry wrap and it was terrific. Definitely hit the spot.
The atmosphere of the restaurant is very relaxed and mellow which is nice to have conversation. It's a good place for lunch or an early supper.
The staff is super friendly so the service is great. If you're ever in Westdale, it's definitely worth checking out.

Milestones on Brant Street is one of the best restaurants, never mind JUST Milestones that I have been too. The food is amazing, Alex and John are the managers and they clearly have their pHDs on how to run this business. The staff are beyond accommodating....Michael, Jay, Andre, Michael, Heather, John, Jeff....I could go on and on. They always have smiles on their faces even though they are running from client to client. The new look is amazing. Rebecca

There are a large variety of dishes and all of the items arrived to our table piping hot.
The service was quite fast and friendly.
I wouldn’t describe the food as outstanding, just good.
I was hoping that the dishes would have been more authentic Chinese. The Sichuan chicken with mixed vegetables was not spicy at all, a total disappointment. Being Sichuan, I was hoping for a spicy, hot dish. It was pretty bland. When I mentioned this to the hostess, she said that we could have ordered it spicy. It should have been spicy, as indicated by the name.

I have been coming to Cafe Limoncello for years. I always bring clients from out of town for lunch and dinner. Great Food, Great Service, Great Atmosphere. They also have a private banquet room which we had our Christmas Party. Everything for Fantastic.....
