Dr. Jeff Dand is a veterinary superstar. He practiced veterinary medicine for over 15 years and opened a successful pet resort before he decided to start his own hospital. “It’s every veterinarian’s dream to have their own practice,” he explains. What sets Jeff apart, though, is his holistic outlook on animal health. “I love seeing pets who aren’t really sick, but I can hopefully make their lives better.” While he's passionate about the wellness centre component of the business, the hospital also offers behavioural training, dental care, radiology, microchipping and more services. “You can’t do it all,” he says, “but we’re going to try.”

Springbank Pet Hospital and Wellness Centre is a one-stop shop for pet owners, especially when you consider that Jeff’s other business ― a massive pet resort with over 40 staff members ― is right next door. “Once you trust us with your pet, we can do everything,” Jeff says. From grooming and daycare to training and pet food, the two businesses occupy a combined 11 acres, which provides a huge amount of room for dogs to run and explore.
