My husband and I were travelling back to Dauphin from Winnipeg on the evening of April 23 and decided to stop here for supper. My husband lost his mother a few years ago, and she was born in Germany and prepared German dishes for their family. The food was piping hot and tasty. I had the pork schnitzel, spatzel and red cabbage (same as what his mom used to make!). The home made rye bread and whipped herb butter is to die for. My husband had the beef roll which was juicy and tender (he has no teeth). We even had the pleasure to have the accordian player do some tunes, and we could even recognize them! The waitress was attentive and the food was served quickly and efficiently. I would recommend this restaurant for any special occasion.
