Yes, ill-fitting bras can be back-breaking, but the owner of Her’s Fine Lingerie, Linda Voytovech, argues that meeting a woman who has been wearing the wrong size her whole life is also heartbreaking. “I’ve met customers who were in their seventies, and they’ve never been fitted for a bra,” says Linda.
Linda wishes every woman knew what a difference a well-fitting bra can make. Her Bloor West Village boutique, located just steps from Runnymede Station, specializes in hard-to-find bra sizes. “We go from A-cups to I-cups,” specifies Linda. To her distress, as many of 85 per cent of women don’t know their bra size. Linda wants to change that. She wants ample-busted women to say goodbye to neck and back pain, and hello to comfort and confidence, something a good bra can offer.
