“I’ve been in the pet business since 1984 and I’ve worked with tonnes of different kinds of animals; everything!” exclaims Judy, a long-time animal lover, pet store owner, and animal groomer. She loves her life and her business, The Paw Spa.
Judy grew up with a father who kept many unusual animals as pets over the years. “When I was a kid, we had raccoons; it’s true! My Dad had a monkey and we had dogs and cats. I’ve had wolves and hawks, and even tarantulas. And a few big fish tanks too.”
In addition to growing up with a wide range of pets, Judy worked with animal shelters and animal rescue. She dealt with all kinds of animals in distress, not just dogs and cats. Taking the step to own her own grooming business and stocked pet store was a natural progression for Judy given her extensive knowledge and skills with animals.
