I tried Aiolis in Parksville b.c. yesterday with two dear friends. We all had different fish and chip dishes. I had the deep fried halibut and chips my friends had the deep fried pacific cod and chips and one had the deep fried lingcod and chips. All 3 of us agreed how delicious and ungreasy all of our lunches were fabulous and so fresh!!! Prices are fantastic for todays prices. Definetely will be a new favourite I cant wait to try more of their menu items. If u love seafood this is the place!!!

Excvellent all round. The view is what theya re known for but they have great service. I like the courtesy and we are impressed that they are consistet with it. Had the Lobester special which was a bargain for $34.

The Shady Island Seafood Bar & Grill is absolutely amazing! It is a must goto place for amazing fresh seafood! Try their hot seafood CEASER salad and chowder! Wow! The very best meal I’ve had in years! All their food is amazing but my personal favourite is the seafood!

So a bunch of us finally headed down to the Blue Canoe for dinner. A few had been there before, and a few hadn't, but we always go and critique places together. Absolutely loved the atmosphere, not a detail was spared in the design of the restaurant.
The real tester is of course the food, and it did not disappoint. They've thrown together some amazing flavours and clearly taken some chances that have worked out in their favour. The Drummettes....I don't eat chicken wings anywhere, but these ones were in a soy sauce of some sort that was fantastic!! The BBQ Salmon was probably the best salmon that I've ever had at a restaurant....not overcooked like most places. So much flavour. That was it for me, but others had a wide variety of food and rave reviews on all counts. A few questions on the sides that they came with, but generous portions and smiles all around. Oh, and the beer is good too...

Maria's is a Kitsilano institution. The atmosphere is everything you would expect a Greek restaurant to offer complete with pictures of Greek scenery adorning the walls. The food is really good and even my wife who is not the biggest fan of Greek food loves the food at Maria's. I usually have what I had on our most recent visit...one of the souvlaki dinners. Our most recent trip I had chicken souvlaki and the chicken was perfectly tender and the potatoes and rice were great too. Next time you have a hankering for Greek food visit Maria's Taverna on 4th!

It was our first time at this restaurant. Our family of five ate together. All of the meals were delicious and hot. The beer on tap was very good. The service was outstanding! The prices are very good for the quality of food. Well be going back there very soon.

We had a lovely table by the window so we had a nice view. Overall ambience is very bright and contemporary. To our benefit the restaurant was not that busy on a weeknight and we parked very close. The service was very good. We enjoyed their daily flatbread special and crab cakes to start. For our mains we went with halibut and osso bucco, both too were very good and cooked just right. And to finish went with a delicious choco molten cake just perfect to share.

But the staff at the front hostess desk are awful ! They are so rude and condescending ! Don’t let the first people that greet you or answer the phone give the wrong impression
