I was looking for a vet in Vancouver that had experience with Sphynx cats, and found 1st Ave. was quite knowledgeable regarding Sphynx; Sphynx have a few different needs from other cats.
Everyone is very friendly and helpful. Very down to earth. The equipment is great (love the X Ray machine). It's clear they are all pet lovers.
Dr. Dhunna is a very nice vet who takes his time and LISTENS. He has excellent knowledge and skills.
I recommend them highly!

Being picky because I love my catrs like my kids, I switched to this vet when one of my fur babies was dying a few years ago. They made it easier on me, longer with a decent life for my baby and left me not feeling like a failure. That takes talent, and that is what matters most in a vet. My babies both go here now, and next apt in on Monday

Caring, attentive staff, answered all my questions, called me daily with updates. My cat fully recovered and is doing great. Highly recommended!

Dr. Defalque and his staff are professional, caring and wonderful. He takes good care of our pet Coco which has severe skin allergies. He listens to your concerns patiently, discusses various treatment options and helps you decide on the most optimal course of treatment. Even our dog seems to be happy and excited seeing Dr. Defalque! I highly recommend Dr. Defalque to anyone whose pet has skin problems.
