Mandarin is a really excellent place to eat a buffet. They are really kind to you and free refills (water, coke). They give you these mint candy after your visit for free. If you tell them that it is your birthday, they give you a cake piece, sing the happy birthday song and a free picture. Also, they have decorations for you to enjoy and they keep the place very neat.
I like how they make food and name the food it’s specific name. The names also say if it is sugar-free, and if it is spicy. They have specific rooms that they assign you to eat and the sign tells you what room it is (Room A, Room b .etc.).
The employes are really nice and when you come in, they make you feel welcomed (unless if the lineup is really long and people have reservations). After you are done with your food, you can just leave your plate on your table. You can get a new plate with food on it so you do not have to use the same plate over and over again.
In conclusion, you should really go to Mandarin. It is a really excellent buffet to go to. It has crab legs right now and they are really expensive to buy at a store. They have a variety of foods and make their own combinations of foods which is really good.

I always have an excellent experience when i come to the Mandarin! The staff delivers great service with a smile, everytime! The food is filling and such variety is provided. I always leave there with a happy belly and great attitude. The atmosphere is cool with the ponds and fish tanks. :) will go back anytime!

went there for my mom's bday last week, i would say it was great, mom was so happy about the choice of birth day celebration. our servers were great and polite. never had to ask for anything. food was great as well. will come back for sure

After a relaxing visit from the spa downtown, my boyfriend took me here for dinner. It was a perfect end to a perfect day. We were greeted and served by an all-Japanese staff (family run business) in a somewhat shabby looking establishment with homemade fish advertisment signs galore.
We ordered the 10 piece nigiri set and were astounded by the high quality of each piece. My boyfriend loved the uni especially. We also ordered soft shell crab roll (dynamite!!), hamachi roll and temaki. High quality green tea too. We finished with mochi ice-cream. The place was packed with all Chinese people and I could hear one older couple speaking in Japanese.
I did feel badly for the lone Japanese man who ate a large meal to himself and got snickered and talked about by the waitresses and large party guests. Perhaps the waitresses were doing it in a friendly manner as it seemed he was a regular face to them--but still, it caused enough attention from other guests who started laughing too. Unprofessional to me, but the food will keep us coming back for more.

Food was great, big portions! my daughter and i shared a combo-- totally enough food and they didn't mind at all bringing an extra plate. Waitresses are very pleasant and refill coffee often. Prices are good. Would definitely return.

Great place to watch sports, TVs everywhere and a huge projection screen that is super clear. Specialize in wings with the choice of drums or flats, wet or dry, I had double dipped which means fried then BBQ'd they were excellent. Great spot

My favourite restaurant in Thornhill < hmm maybe Toronto. Consistently great food, awesome service and wonderful ambiance. Plus when they kick that quartet up on the weekend , feels like your in a great jazz restaurant. I keep coming back.

Ive been a loyal customer at Jerusalems on Eglinton for as long as i can remember and cant seem to get the same exotic flavours anywhere else in T.O. The best falafel, creamiest hummos, best entrees...restaurant is always busy but the always courteous staff manage to get patrons into the rest. without a long frustrating wait! Ive been to the Leslie location and it doesnt compare! One of the best restaurants in Toronto in my opinion and Ive been to MANY!
