Made to order sandwiches on wonderful chewy bread. We tried the pork and the fish varieties accompanied by our side choices of pickled vegetables and green salad. All tasted fresh and tasty and unique blend. The brewed unsweetened iced tea was a nice finish. The restaurant has this wooden, rustic open feel. There is an entrance on both Powell and Alexander streets. Sufficient street pay parking at the edge of gastown.

Going along Broadway I have noticed the restaurant many times and finally decided to drop in for brunch to give it a go. We sat outside, we didn't mind waiting for a table there. Service was fine and the food came fairly soon. I had an excellent smoked ham benedict which came with cubed fries and a very fresh salad.

Whole Foods opened their first location at Park Royal and I eagerly awaited their arrival at Cambie Street when i saw the sign go up that they were locating their. Little did I realize that this meant the demise of my favourite Capers location just up the street at 16th and Cambie. For that reason it has taken me a long time to warm to this store. This store does not have the same vibe as the West van store but I think that is partly due to the space they have to work with. That said, they carry the best selection of organic and natural and special diet products in Vancouver. The prices are reasonable, if not a little steep at times but they often have specials that take the bite out of the grocery bill a little. They are the store to buy organic dairy products as the organic milk is the cheapest in town on a daily basis. The meat department is a full service butcher and everything is clean and fresh looking...that said the meat can tend to be a bit pricey. The bakery is good and the ready to go foods are always yummy. All in all this is a pretty good store and great for those of us who try to maximize the organic foods that we eat.

I thought that the staff was great, the food was delicious, the wait was not long at all, and the atmosphere was really fun! They had a great menu (much of their ingredients were either local or home-made) and their patio seats have one of the best views of the beach I've ever seen. The place itself was very clean and cozy. I would definitely give it 5 stars out of 5 and I will definitely be returning to try out other menu options. Really easy to find as it is just across from the pier. One of the highlights of my trip to the beach and a must try for anybody looking for an awesome place to eat in White Rock. :)

The Riverside crew worked quickly and efficiently to re-pipe our entire house. There were no job interruptions and they saw the job through in record time. I have my two vehicles transmission rebuild at JP Transmission. Before taking my vehicle to this shop I got second opinions and estimates from other shops. JP’s estimate lower than other shops with same warranty. Pav the owner of this shop was helpful, honest and provided different options to repair my vehicle. Since than I am regular customer of JP Transmission for all my vehicles regular maintenance. I highly recommend JP Transmission for all small or big repair jobs.
